Georgiana Collection

Step into the decadent world of the Georgians, where jewellery was an essential part of 18th century ballrooms. This was an era which revelled in jewels; multiple rings were worn on fingers and even shoe buckles sparkled with diamonds. Our collection of “Georgiana”  picks up on the most glamorous 18th century trends. Women wore glamorous earrings to complement their elaborate hairstyles, and we’ve incorporated motifs which were popular at the time: bows, teardrops and flowers. This was the time of Jane Austen, of Georgiana, the stylish (if scandalous) Duchess of Devonshire and of the great romantics like Shelley and Byron, who once captured the sultry ideal of eighteenth century glamour in his lines: ‘She walks in beauty, like the night of cloudless climes and starry skies’.
